Amcor has been established since 1860 and now has grown to over 37,000 employees worldwide. Much of this growth was through mergers and acquisitions, resulting in a number of different portals across each region as a mix of IBM and Microsoft SharePoint intranets. 

Amcor's objective was to centralise their intranet into a single Office 365 entity while at the same time provide for different content editors across different regions - a decentralised approach to managing content for employees. 

OneSpace allows for a decentralised content management system, whereby there can be multiple content editors, each responsible for their own specific region or business unit.

Personalisation of content was of utmost importance, as Amcor wanted to create functionality whereby news was specific to the employees region and business unit and a user could subscribe to services and update their favourites on the intranet. 

Amcor also wanted the branding to align with their online branding as part of their overarching digital strategy. The OneSpace product met each of these criteria, as it offers a beautiful out-of-box user experience with the ability to customise templates for Amcor’s needs.

We provided the overall business requirements, assisted with design and branding, information architecture review and design, training, hand-over, go-live and offer on-going support to ensure it's success.

Amcor have successfully migrated from many different employee portals across multiple platforms to one centralised intranet build on Office 365. They immediately began realising the benefits of this new system, not just from a cost saving perspective but also from the benefits of having a more engaged workforce who have access to the information relevant to their roles in a timely and efficient manner.
